I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Mystays Kagoshima Tenmonkan. The location was fantastic, right in the center of Tenmonkan and close to the tram station. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped me with dinner reservations (thank goodness for their English!). However, I did find the air conditioning to be quite intrusive, especially on the one side of the building.
